    We have used Dimillo Construction in the past and recently had Brian remove a gas fireplace and install a wood stove with stainless exterior chimney with brick hearth, surround etc. They do FANTASTIC work!!!! We would highly recommend them!!!! See more See less

    I work for a Property Management company as a Property Manager. Many of our buildings are over 100 years old. Brian and his team have done AMAZING work that was necessary for the integrity of the building and to ensure the tenants can continue to occupy the space safely and comfortably.     Brian and his team were excellent! I had been looking for a competent, honest and creative mason and frankly, Brian found me! My front steps were a mess and he was going past my house and offered to repair them. We spoke and I indicated I wanted all new and he completed the job in about 2 and 1/2 weeks. He sourced the color bricks and mortar I wanted, gave me a very fair price and showed up every day til the work was done. I couldn’t be happier! See more See less

    wooden gutter needed repair from ice damage. trim work needed replacement, repair, And touch up paint. some custom downspout work and lining the wooden gutter with Gaco silicone Roofing, everything is good. brian did need some prodding to get the job started. but once he got started he finished it up in good time. very good work at a reasonable price.     DiMillo Construction reset my sagging granite steps at both the front and back entrances. They did a phenomenal job restoring them to their original look. DiMillo also reset the two brick walkways leading to the house, giving them a perfect pitch so water would not collect there anymore. It used to be a problem in winter, the water would turn into ice, making it very hazardous to navigate. DiMillo's crew is a pleasure to have around.     In our opinion, Brian is an accomplished and skilled stonemason, with a strong work ethic! We have an early 1800's house, and Brian has re-set front granite steps. Also, after outside digging+ to create better drainage along the outside foundation walls, Brian repointed the stones of the internal rubble foundation, and then parged the walls to help manage basement water leakage. Brian knows stones, and I believe also an artist, loving a design challenge, too. He and a friend created a wonderful stone entrance area *(small "patio" with well-planned accessibility to the close driveway, transforming a BACK door feeling, which morphed beautifully into the "main entrance" of the house. Ahead of time, we really had had no specific idea of what I was looking for, other than something a bit unusual. We talked - they listened, and definitely understood! I felt comfortable letting them use their judgement and ideas - I LOVE it!! Just what I wanted!! Brian's work is wonderful!! I highly recommend stonemason Brian DiMillo!! See more See less

    Brian and his team did a great job of replacing a very old chimney (probably from 1840) and repointing a newer one. He showed up with appropriate equipment, including a powered lift to get people and equipment to the roof. This shows care for the safety of his crew and a commitment to the longevity of his business. Brian stuck to his estimate and kept me informed as to his progress and anything he notice while on the roof. See more See less

    DiMillo Construction has done extensive work in my home including two complete kitchen remodels (we have an attached apartment), bathroom remodel, flooring installation (tile, wood, luxury vinyl plank), and quite a few other various projects. I can’t recommend Brian and his team enough! They are professional, timely and transparent. Brian is very detail-oriented and really listens to what you want, which shows in his craftsmanship.     My wife and I were thrilled to have found Brian. We retired to Maine about 3 years ago. Our apartment needed to be completely gutted, reconfigured, with new electrics and plumbing, and my wife wanted a gas fireplace. All was accomplished expertly and timely! I'm going to include only 1 photo of many I could have. Notice the stone work. Each piece was hand chipped, shaped and placed individually. Notice how our new hardwood floor is scribed to the Brian DiMillo hand shaped stone hearth. Doesn't get any better than this! We are thrilled to be living here. See more See less

    DiMillo Construction did a marvelous job installing a stone path in our new flower garden and installing new stones at the top and bottom of existing stone steps. They selected perfectly matched stones and arranged them to blend into the existing hardscape. They fit together a variety of stone sizes to ensure a natural-looking and gracefully shaped path. The result adds not only to the beauty of the new garden plantings but to the landscape as a whole. DiMillo Construction are true artists. In addition, Brian and his crew are professional and work with the customer to achieve the intended results. They are also extremely tidy and respectful.     Brian and crew have worked on various projects for us. Our brick house was built in 1854, which means that upkeep can involve intense problem solving. In nearly every instance, I would call Brian to do some work and realize the labor was just the end of the process. He studied the problem and considered every aspect of the situation and planned work that would last and be in keeping with our historic house. The projects varied from brick repointing to rebuilding masonry steps and walls to chimney repair to roofing and to installation of skylights and sky windows. Brian and every person who worked under him were pleasant and reliable. If you value someone with expertise and good communication skills, and want final results that will last, hire Brian.
